Refer Contract Interiors are a small upholstery and soft furnishings manufacturer. Working with traditional and modern techniques, they required a brand mark to reflect this. The final logo design manages to capture this with the use of typography and the soft wave form reminiscent of padded fabric, giving a friendly and reliable face to the company.
Sound, Scotland’s Festival of New Music is based in Aberdeen during October and November. The festival showcases all types of music and visual arts and therefor required a simple design. A bold sans serif type was decided upon along with the water drop wave pattern to produce a crisp logo.
The Edinburgh Quartet logo, in use for over a decade needed brought up-to-date. This was achieved by using a more contemporary typeface as well as reworking the recognised “E” symbol representing the 4 instruments of the quartet. The web address was also included, connecting the logo to the online presence.
Falkirk based interior design firm Aura wanted an elegant, simple design. Bespoke letterforms were developed to give a soft edge to the word mark. This was then encapsulated by bracket forms inspired by architectural plans.
